Being one of the major property developers across China/Hong Kong, this dynamic landlord company is going through expansion and facelift process. A new opening is now available – a very strong and experienced General Manager, Hospitality professional is sought immediately. Based here in Hong Kong – the group's headquarters office, you will report to both the Director of Property Development and Director of Construction division. Your key responsibilities will entail the below listed:

• Take charge of 2 major hotel projects of both Hong Kong and Southern China in the next 5 years, facilitate and oversee the hotel projects' management, development and design
• Monitor and review new hotels' planning, design, project expenses, development progress, construction documentation and pre-opening issues
• Represent the landlord, negotiate and maintain relationship with international hotel operators/management companies. He/she will effectively convey the landlord/owner's thoughts and expectations to safeguard owner's best interest
• Give good ideas/recommendations to senior management including board of directors/CEO, and provide professional advice in design concept, project scope, standards, space and facilities planning and other related design specifications.
• Undertake any contingency researches/study assigned by management in relation to hotel design and development, e.g. feasibility study, market analysis and benchmarking

To be successful, you will bring in or demonstrate the following hard and soft skills/experience:

• A degree holder in Business Management and/or Hotel Management
• 12 to 15 years of proven experience of working for international braded hotels.  Proven experience in hotel operations and hotel projects development (including pre-opening) in both Hong Kong and China is required.
• A strong visionary professional with excellent commercial acumen
• Confident, succinct, presentable and can convey your idea to the Group CEO and other Directors confident to present ideas to the Group Chairman/MD and other international hotel operators and negotiate deals/terms etc.
• A very good person that is hands-on, strategic and sharp.
• Able to manage pressure and work across all levels within the organization
• Excellent English and Chinese skills including Mandarin Chinese preferably
