The Role:

• Act as head of Q.S. Section and report to directors
• Supervise the Q.S. section to ensure its smooth and efficient operation
• Review and interpret main contract and sub-contract documents and implement improvements a necessary
• Advise management on contractual matters
• Liaise with site management on quantity surveying aspects including sub-contracts
• Evaluate and assess potential EOT and financial claims including insurance claims
• Assist tender departments on tender related issues
• Advise management on cost and budget control

The Requirement:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years experience in Hong Kong building construction; of which 10 years must be at managerial level and hands on experience in government contracts.
• Required to liaise with clients and consultants
• Strong in estimation, project co-ordination and management skills
• Proficiency in PC applications
• Strong organizational capability, good communication and presentation skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
