Regional Customer Support Engineer

Our client is a leading global IT solution vendor. They provide full range of applications and infrastructure solutions to MNC customers across the region.

They are currently looking for high caliber candidates to join their world-class technical support team for the expansion of business in the APAC region.

Report to: Regional Manager, APAC Technical Support

Key Objective of the role:

This is a key position for providing excellent 1st level technical support to major corporate customers of different countries in the APAC region. The job holder is expected to provide immediate aids and solutions responding to customer¡¦s technical requests that come from regional customer support hotline and customer support portal. This role offers a good opportunity to the job holder to expand their regional exposure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve customer technical enquiry.
  • Analyze and isolate technical problems within shortest timeframe.
  • Escalate problem to the next level with technical justifications.
  • Prepare documentation of related technical enquiry.
  • Provide professional advices and recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through excellent support quality.

Skills and Attributes Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical-minded
  • Customer-centric and dynamic
  • Mature and able to work under pressure

Business Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in technical support or customer support area.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Window Server environment.
  • Strong knowledge in various desktop systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Working experience in MNC environment will be an added advantage.

Academic and Language Requirements:

  • Degree Holder in Computer Science, Electronic Engineer or related discipline.
  • High proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
