Our client, a manufacturing group is seeking a competent General Manager to oversee their food manufacturing plants in China: Responsibilities: - Manage overall operation of companyˇ¦s food manufacturing plants in China, including production, R&D, quality, warehousing, human resources and finance
- Steer the Planning and execution of production goals, productivity improvement and food quality assurance.
- Monitor and control the food cost, materials, quality and delivery with on-time schedule.
- Develop and implement schedule metrics to monitor and control production results of all the plants in China
- Based in Hong Kong with frequent travel trips to China
Requirements: - Degree holder in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 ˇV 15 years production management experience in food manufacturing with 3 years experience managing multiple food plants in China for reputable companies
- Strong background in manufacturing process management and quality improvement programs
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems and Quality Management Systems
- Proven capability in leading and building efficient teams with high standard of ethics and quality
- A strong general manager with good communication skills in English and Putonghua
