-required by an European buying office Responsibilities: -Lead a team of merchandising staff; -Plan and execute strategy to grow the business; -Work with overseas buyer independently; -Develop and implement strategic plans and performance targets for the team; -To drive for high profit rate from sale volume by managing resources and cost control -To deal with buyers during their visits and daily communication for current and potential businesses; closely liaise with current to maintain relationship; provide value added services -To build, lead, manage and supervise the merchandising teams to follow up and monitor overall product development process - merchandising, purchasing, technical & quality issues, sampling, shipping of samples and production planning control of the bulk etc. -To be responsible for ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management -Station in Dongguan office Qualifications: -Tertiary education background -7-10 years related working experience in Bags / Shoes / Fashion Acc / Jewelry, either one category is acceptable; EU market experience is preferable -Prefer European buying office experience -Must be result orientated, positive thinking and with strong sense of ownership -Strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills -Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin -Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedule
