ASSISTANT MANAGER, INTERNAL AUDIT

Our client is a well known furniture and household items manufacturer and retailer. They have seen considerable growth over the past few years and are now looking for an Assistant Manager, Internal Audit to join their team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out assurance audits of financial and operational systems, as well as designing and implementing audit procedures to evaluate the adequacy/effectiveness of internal controls. You will also be required to handle ad hoc assignments as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical, reporting and consolidation skills.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree in Accounting or related field
- Recognised accounting qualifications; CISA qualification will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years audit experience with Big 4 CPA firm and 2 years internal audit experience, preferably in manufacturing industry
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and on tight deadlines
- Fluent communication in English and Cantonese; command of Mandarin will be preferable, but not essential
