Our client is a well known furniture and household items manufacturer and retailer. They have seen considerable growth over the past few years and are now looking for a Senior Cost Accountant / Assistant Costing Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Costing Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out daily internal costing inquiries, gather costing data and analyse costing drivers while helping to implement standard costing methodologies and allocation assumptions. You will also be required to handle ad hoc assignments as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with costing experience within a manufacturing company.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
A university degree in Accounting and a recognised accounting qualification
Minimum 5 years accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
Good systems skills including Excel and ERP software
Ability to work under pressure, independently, and on tight deadlines
A good command of both English and Mandarin
