FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, INFRASTRUCTURE FUND

Our client is a JV company formed between a reputable International Fund Management company and a well-funded Hong Kong listed company. They are currently establishing funds investing in infrastructure assets in China. With increasing activities and significant growth, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join and set up the Finance function for this JV.
Reporting to the Group CFO, you will lead the Finance team on financial management and reporting for the investment vehicles as well as transaction processing, management reporting, statutory and taxation reporting, forecasting, tax calculations, finance issues related to foreign exchange hedging and acquisitions. As a function leader, you will also be responsible for preparing finance related board papers, cash management, dividend payments and cash, annual budgets, debt facilities management, cash flow management. In addition, you will assist in capital raising, acquisitions and investor queries on the Finance aspects.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree and professional accounting qualification
- Big 4 training with minimum 10 years accounting experience
- Experience from a holdings / group level company with China or overseas investment acquisition activities
- Experience gained from a similar JV company would be highly advantageous
- Hands-on skills in handling multiple entities accounting with complex corporate structures
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge in IFRS, different GAAPS (including China) and China Tax
- Strong communicator with fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
