Our client is a leading US Investment Bank with Regional Headquarters and Corporate Treasury based in Hong Kong. As part of continued growth, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Treasury Accountant to join the team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Regional Function Leader, you will be a senior member of the Asia Treasury team supporting the regional and country corporate treasury on finance and accounting. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, performance metrics, expense analysis, balance sheet reporting and internal transfer pricing. You will work with the business on funding and hedging strategies, partner with finance and operations on initiatives related to control / system improvement and ledger migrations, coordinate between local, regional and global Treasury Finance matters. This role requires strong partnership with the business, corporate treasury and finance leaders in the region.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree and ideally a professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Treasury Finance, Product Control, Balance Sheet Control
- Experience in a regional Corporate Treasury function would also be considered
- Experience in projects, system integration / enhancement
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
