Our client, a high-end European leather goods brand is seeking the following competent Asia Sales Manager to assist the company in the development and expansion of the Asia retail franchising and wholesales market: Responsibilities: - Manage the sales activities in the whole Asia region with particular reference to the retail franchising and wholesales channels
- Report to the Asia Area Manager and European headquarters
- Initiate and develop sales and marketing activities for achieving company strategic objectives in Asia
- Develop new franchising channels and distributors in the Asia markets
- Formulate and implement action plans for each business partner to improve their position in the market
- Travel frequently within the Asia region
Requirements: - Bachelor Degree holder in business and/or marketing
- Minimum 5 - 7 years hands on sales experience of fashion products in Asia, such as leather goods, clothing, luxury products or fashion accessories items
- Good track record of developing sales in the Asia region particularly in the franchising and wholesales to distributors, department stores, independent stores and duty free shops etc.
- Good people skills and able to work with people/markets of different culture and varieties
- Energetic and mature, pro-active, eager, result-oriented and quality-conscious
- Good social and communicative skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
